Battlement Tower Lodge, Ducketts Grove, Carlow
19C Gothic granite stone gatehouse, entrance arches, battlements and towers with 2 acres. This was once the main entrance to the historic Ducketts Grove estate where the original house is now in the process of restoration by Carlow County Council.
The gatehouse has 5 rooms which are not habitable in its current state while the turrets and battlements are accessible via stone spiral staircases. The land is situated mainly behind the gatehouse but also includes the forecourt area between the arches adjoining the road.
